MCI Third Level CPE/CTE Support,  Senior Network Engineer II 
Responsible for various equipment and networks for one or more years at a time, including Cisco Routers, Newbridge Multiplex (FAA LINCS Network), channel banks, CSUs, DSUs, CSU/DSUs, and modems of various vendors. Responsible for tracking and resolving network wide equipment problems, including some that need to be fixed by the manufacturer of the equipment. Lab testing the equipment after the modifications were completed, and before the modifications were rolled out to the field. Approve Engineering Change Orders or Product Change Notices. Use ECO or PCN to write Technical Application Bulletin and/or Field Modification Bulletin for field technicians to follow, in the repair or maintenance of the equipment.

Engineer and produce multiplex documentation packages for the installation of multiplex in various MCI sites. Order the parts for completion of the installation by installers at the site. Ensure that all required documentation for operation and maintenance of the equipment after installation was sent to the site. Completed some site visits and site work. Reorganized into support department.

Produced standards documentation for multiplex equipment used in the MCI network. Worked on new analog multiplex equipment to be used for MCI satellite earth stations. Was selected by senior manager for an employee swap with mux install department.

Point of contact for installation problems with customer premise equipment. Approved and tracked all conditional approvals of non standard CPE equipment. Engineered special projects for equipment needed to complete customer circuits. Designed and built automated test station for all vendor's channel banks and channel modules. Upper management requested that I fill an empty position in the Standards Department.
